
Two-Vehicle Accident Closes Interstate Lanes in Tuscaloosa Thursday
A collision involving a commercial semitruck and a passenger vehicle has caused law enforcement to close two lanes of the interstate in Tuscaloosa on Thursday.
Sergeant Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers, said the two-vehicle crash took place around 11:15 a.m. on I-20/59 near Mile Marker 76.

As first responders continue to work the scene, King said the two rightmost lanes of I-59 North are blocked and will be for an undetermined amount of time.
King said ALEA's Highway Patrol Division is on the scene investigating the crash and directing traffic.
