Tuscaloosa's Harrison Construction Company, Inc, is stronger than ever in 2024 with four new faces on their leadership team.

The company, which has been a local industry leader for decades, announced the appointments and promotions in a press release celebrating the enhancement of its financial and operational efficiency.

Mitzi Coogler joined the company as its new chief financial officer, a senior role in which she will oversee cash flow, analyze financial strengths and weaknesses and propose strategy and direction to lead Harrison into the future.

Taylor Burkhalter is now Harrison's controller and will create, monitor and enforce the company's internal budgets and controls. The release said she will also perform audits internally and provide data to external accountants as necessary.

The company also created a pair of positions on the leadership team. JoAnna Evans will become the Senior Project Administrator, oversee contract management, and enhance efficiency.

Lastly, Brent Johnson has been named Senior Project Manager. Harrison said in that role, he will plan, direct, manage and oversee the company's design and construction projects. The role also supervises project managers, continued education and technology research.

“Harrison Construction’s success has always been built on a strong foundation of exceptional talent," CEO Tim Harrison said. "With these key appointments, we are strengthening that foundation and ensuring that we continue to provide the highest quality construction services to our clients."
