Troopers Close I-20/59 in Greene County to Clean Up After Monday Crash
Northbound lanes of Interstate 59 in Greene County are closed Tuesday morning following a crash, according to Alabama State Troopers.
The northbound lanes near the 27-mile marker are blocked and will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time while the Alabama Department of Transportation provides traffic control for recovery and cleanup operations.

Sergeant Reginal King said the crash was reported at approximately 5:40 p.m. Monday.
Northbound traffic is being diverted at Exit 23. Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division will continue to monitor the situation.
Greene County is immediately southwest of Tuscaloosa County heading towards Mississippi, and the closure is about 50 miles away from the city of Tuscaloosa.
