
Pickens County Authorities Seize 13 Pounds of Marijuana, Ecstasy & More in Raid
The Gordo Police Department is celebrating a major drug bust on Tuesday that led to the seizure of 13 pounds of marijuana, ecstasy and a table full of other controlled substances.
In a post on Facebook, the Pickens County Sheriff's Office said they and GPD officers responded to a residence on Sam Davis Court to serve a search warrant.
"The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 13 pounds of marijuana, ecstasy pills, prescription narcotics, marijuana wax, and numerous marijuana vape pens," the law enforcement agency reported.

One person, Antonia Price, was arrested and charged with Trafficking Marijuana, Trafficking in Illegal Drugs, Failure to Affix Tax Stamp and Possession of Controlled Substance.
Pickens County law enforcement said the raid is indicative of their multi-agency cooperation and a victory for the region.
