1 Dead After Motorcycle Wreck During Funeral Procession in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

One person was killed in a motorcycle accident during a funeral procession in Tuscaloosa Saturday morning, according to the city's police department.

In a post to Facebook, TPD said two motorcycles were involved in a crash on Martin Luther King Jr. Bouelvard shortly after noon Saturday.

A police spokesperson said one person was killed in the crash.

A portion of the road by Short 19th Street in Tuscaloosa will remain closed as TPD's Accident Reconstruction Unit investigates the deadly accident.
