According to a release, the restaurant offers "a French Brasserie-meets-Steakhouse inspired menu, in a sophisticated setting with an all-day bar area, a thoughtfully designed dining room and an open kitchen with seating, including a Chef’s table for eight, and an outdoor patio."
Guests will be able to indulge in French brasserie dishes with a modern touch and locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, along with house dry aged steaks with a signature wine list and an upscale bar program.
The Alamite's second restaurant concept, Roll Call, is slated to open later this month and will include and indoor and outdoor rooftop experience with causal dining options, including sushi, woodfired pizzas and sliders, along with craft cocktails and local and craft beer options.
Executive chef Jacob Stull said he is excited and honored to bring the two culinary concepts to residents and guests of Tuscaloosa and beyond.
"Alabama is my home and there’s something really special here. I want to help showcase that,” Stull said.
Forté is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
