A fire is burning this afternoon at 5500 Joe Mallisham Pkwy.

According to Tuscaloosa Fire public information officer Holly Whigham, crews are on the scene battling the blaze.

The fire was initially reported around 2:30 pm at that address.

At press time, Tuscaloosa Fire is calling it "an outside fire".
