FBI Investigation Active at Residence in Tuscaloosa County Town of Vance

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is actively conducting an investigation at a residence in the Tuscaloosa County town of Vance on Tuesday.

Although very few details are available, a spokesperson for the FBI confirmed their presence there in an email to the Thread after reports on social media emerged that their agents were in the Logan Farms subdivision of Vance.

"I can confirm that the FBI is conducting a court-authorized activity in Vance, Alabama," an FBI Public Affairs Specialist said. "Our investigation is ongoing, so I’ll hold off on providing further details at this time."

No other details were available Tuesday afternoon and local law enforcement sources said they could not comment on the federal operation.
