A young woman died in Greene County Saturday night after a collision between two all-terrain vehicles, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers have confirmed.
Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Troopers in West Alabama, said 24-year-old Wynisha Rebecca Howard was riding on the back of a Yamaha Raptor ATV when it was involved in a crash with a Honda 400 ATV.
Howard was rushed to the Greene County Hospital but was pronounced dead there shortly after arrival, King said.
The woman was a resident of Faunsdale, Alabama, in nearby Marengo County, King said.
Two men, who are 20 and 24 years old, were also hurt in the accident and transported to area hospitals for treatment.
