The woman was a resident of Faunsdale, Alabama, in nearby Marengo County, King said.

Two men, who are 20 and 24 years old, were also hurt in the accident and transported to area hospitals for treatment.

King said the accident took place just before 9 p.m. Saturday on Greene County Road 20 a few miles north of Boligee, Alabama.

The accident is still under investigation, and King was unable to provide any further details Thursday morning.
