Fatal Crash Kills 3 People Along Alabama SR 39

A two-vehicle crash claimed the lives of three people along Alabama SR 39 in Sumter County, approximately five miles north of the Livingston city limits.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers confirmed the crash occurred at 4:35 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Reginal King said the accident occurred when Rickey Earl Coley, 60, of Bay Minette struck his 2013 Ford F-150 into a 2011 Lexus IS 250, which was owned by two Livingston residents.

The driver of the Lexus, Tyrhonda Deniece Thomas, 33, and her passenger Lillie Williams Thomas, 67, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

King said Coley's passenger, Veronica Moore Coley, 54, was also pronounced dead at the scene. Rickey Coley was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

No further details are available as troopers continue to investigate.
