Doris Ann Hollyhand, age 69, of Northport, Alabama, passed away on May 10, 2023 at her residence.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2023, at Flatwoods Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Billy Gray officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Audline Brantley.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Hollyhand; and her nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.

Doris was born and raised in Mississippi but absolutely loved Tuscaloosa. She was a photographer at Olan Mills where she met her husband, Gary. She loved her job before she retired, and she was always taking pictures of family and friends. Before photography she was a licensed cosmetologist, so anytime you saw her she was all dolled up with her hair and makeup, and probably with a camera in hand ready to take pictures. Other than photography and makeup, she also really loved to cook and bake. She had every gadget under the sun to help her create the most beautiful and delicious, sweet treats for those she loved.

She and Gary were married for 39 years. She loved him and loved her nieces, nephews, and other family so so much. She was a tiny woman, but she loved and cared so big.

Pallbearers will be Chris Hollyhand, Patrick Fenimore, Jordan Atchison, Bryan Fenimore, Zachary Fenimore, and Sammy Fenimore.
