The victim told police that they were working in the 2700 block of 38th, a residential area in Northport, when a man stepped out of the bushes with a rifle.

The driver said the suspect was dressed entirely in black and wore a mask or other face covering. They allegedly fired the rifle into the air and robbed the driver of cash and other items, Carpenter said.

The driver returned to Domino's and reported the robbery, which Carpenter said took place around 10 minutes before midnight Friday.

No suspects have been developed in this case, and anyone who has any information about the robbery is urged to call the Northport Police Department at 205-339-6600.
