Delora J. “Dee” Banks (April 6th, 1936 – July 1st, 2023)

Delora J. "Dee" Banks, age 87 of Duncanville, passed away July 1, 2023 at 4:30 am at DCH Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 6th at Duncanville Cemetery at 11:00 am. Magnolia Chapel South is directing.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Edward Banks, mother; Myrtle Stokes Duren Parker, father; Dolphus Duren and brother; James Duren.

Survivors include her two sons; Michael J. Banks (Teresa), and Russell L. Banks (Mary), two grandchildren; Misty M. Smith (Allen), and Steven M. Banks, three great grandchildren; Brittany Kelly, James Smith, and Josie E. Banks, three great great grandchildren; Thomas Kelly, Allie Rae Kelly, and J. Stetson Smith, sister; Margie Smith (Willie).

Delora was an active member of Duncanville Baptist Church. She loved to visit with family and friends. Her passion was to spread the word of God to all.
