Just Weeks Left for Artists & Performers to Apply for Tuscaloosa’s 2026 Events
Any artists or musicians wishing to participate in Tuscaloosa's annual Druid City Arts Festival next year or its summer concert series, Live at the Plaza, have only a few weeks left to apply.
The city sent reminders about the January 9th deadline on Wednesday morning, noting that applications for both artist booths and live music performers are due on the 9th, which is four Fridays from now.

DCAF is a free two-day festival that draws dozens of local artists to Government Plaza every April, where makers of screenprints, ceramics, honeys, hot salsas, photography, sculpture, and more display and sell their works. Live bands also play all weekend.
This year’s festival - the 17th since it was founded! - will be held on April 10th and 11th, with music, food, and fun planned at DCAF all weekend long.
Live at the Plaza is a free concert series in the same city space every Friday night in May and June, as weather permits.
Musicians and groups looking to perform at the spring and summer events downtown must also apply before January 9th, and should include video demonstrating at least three live songs to be considered for either event.
Acts looking to perform in April at DCAF can apply at this page.
Those seeking a spot during the Friday night LatP concert series can apply here.
