Some Northport Citizens Without Water After Contractor Severs Line Monday
Some Northport residents and businesses are without water Monday afternoon after a contractor reportedly severed a main water line on McFarland Boulevard.
In a Facebook post shared around 12:30 p.m. Monday, city officials said a contractor hit the main water line in the area near Zaxby's and Wheat's Carpet in Northport.

The city will begin emergency work to repair the line, but until then, some nearby residents will be without water.
