
Coker Man Arrested For Indecent Exposure On Queen City Avenue
A Coker man has been arrested and charged with indecent exposure after an incident last Saturday morning. 28-year-old Matthew Daniel Hilbish admittedly exposed himself to a woman who was walking her dog in the 800 block of Queen City Avenue in Tuscaloosa.
Court records allege Hilbish parked his car and when the woman and her dog approached, he called her over. At that point Hilbish reportedly revealed his genitals to the woman.

After the incident the woman called Tuscaloosa Police to report what had happened. The court records reveal that TPD officers arrived on the scene and read Hilbish his Miranda Rights as they placed him in custody. Hilbish then told officers he had exposed himself to the woman for sexual gratification.
Indecent exposure falls under "Public Lewdness" laws in the State of Alabama and is generally regarded legally as a Class A misdemeanor. It can however be raised to a Class C Felony for a third time or more offense
Penalty can include jail time up to a year and fines as defined under Alabama Criminal Code.
Hilbish was transported to Tuscaloosa County Jail with bond set at $300.00. It is not known at this time if he bonded out or remains in the county jail.
