A mix of diverse business and community leaders were elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama, according to a Monday afternoon release.

The release states nine new members will join the 46-member board as new directors, for a three-year term which begin on January 3rd..

Jim Page, Chamber president and CEO said the organization is fortunate to have prominent leaders serving the governing body.

"The collective talent and influence of the chamber’s volunteer leadership team is second to none, and it positions our organization to continue to play a pivotal role in this region’s economic success," Page said.

The newly appointed members are:

  • Alyson Baxter- The University of Alabama
  • Elizabeth Beeker- Express Employment Professionals
  • Bobby Bragg- JamisonMoneyFarmer PC
  • Katrina Keefer- DCH Health System
  • David Pass- The Sealy Companies
  • Mark Tobin- The Westervelt Company
  • Ken Todd- McAbee Construction, Inc.
  • Craig Williams- Avenue Pub and The Wine Market
  • JacQuan Winters- The Kristen Amerson Youth Foundation

In addition to the newly added directors, nine current board members were elected to return for a second three-year term. The re-elected members include:

  • Heather Dill- Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa Downtown
  • Amy Echols- Kentuck Art Center and Festival
  • Jheovanny Gomez- Jalapeños Restaurants
  • Jordan Morris- Ward Scott Morris Architecture
  • Whitney Oswalt- Alabama ONE
  • Jasmine Rainey- Tuscaloosa Tourism and Sports
  • David Rains- Randall Reilly 
  • Nikki Ray- Eatmybeats, Inc.
  • Kelsey Rush, Tuscaloosa Tourism and Sports

Michelle Coley, owner of the Allstate Coley Agency, will serve as chairwoman of the Board of Directors. Those joining Coley on the Executive Committee include:

  • Tripp Powell- Powell Enterprises and outgoing Board chair
  • Anwar Aiken- The Grand Event Design & Decor
  • Bobby Bragg- JamisonMoneyFarmer PC
  • Matt Fajack- The University of Alabama
  • Chip Fuqua- Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc.
