
Chamber of Commerce Appoints New 2022 Board Members
The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama Announced 13 new board members and appointed its 2022 officers.
Business and community leaders from a diverse range of backgrounds were selected to serve on the 46-member board of directors. New members include:

- Anwar Aiken of the Grand Event Design & Décor
- Mary Virginia Best of Nancy Taylor Day Spa
- Sydney Burns of Lou & Company
- David DuBose of Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa
- Carrie Fitts of Carrie Fitts Real Estate
- Lee Garrison of the Frazer Lanier Company
- Hayward Gould of BankFirst
- Jennifer Hart of Paragon HM Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley
- Joe Hughes of L&H Contractors, Inc.
- Tony Johnson of Stanton Chase
- Tim Lewis of TALA Professional Services
- Luke Remmert of Remert & Company
- Llevelyn Rhone of the Hale County Chamber of Commerce
Each of these directors will serve a three year term that started January 1, 2022. 6 directors were elected to return to the board for a second term:
- David Coleman of Hunt Refining Company
- Michele Coley of the Allstate Coley Agency
- Carl Jamison of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC
- Brad Newman of Shelton State Community College
- Jim Page of the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama
- Kelsey Rush of Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports
The Chamber’s Board of Directors has also elected its leadership team for 2022:
- Tripp Powell, of Powell Enterprises, will serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors
- Elizabeth Winter Regions Bank, outgoing Board chair and Executive Committee Member
- Michele Coley of the Allstate Coley Agency, Executive Committee Member
- Matt Fajack of The University of Alabama, Executive Committee Member
- Matt Feller of BFGoodrich Tire Manufacturing, Executive Committee Member
- Jheovanny Gomez of Jalapeños Restaurants, Executive Committee Member
- Carl Jamison of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC, Executive Committee Member
- Jordan Morris of Ward Scott Architecture, Executive Committee Member
- Brad Newman of Shelton State Community College, Executive Committee Member
- Jim Page of the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama, Executive Committee Member
- Kelsey Rush of Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports, Executive Committee Member
