PHOTOS: Highlights from This Year’s Celebrate Local in Tuscaloosa
Community members gathered at Celebrate Local 2022, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama, at the Tuscaloosa River Market Tuesday to shop and support businesses of all kinds from the immediate area.

Jim Page, president and CEO of the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce, said the event is important to showcase the "great and unique businesses" in the west Alabama region and reminds community members the importance of shopping local.
"When we shop with those businesses, those sales tax dollars stay in this community to fund essential services that we all enjoy and it also employs a lot of our friends and neighbors," Page said.
