James said the crash took place around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, about five miles west of Gordo, on Alabama 86 in Pickens County.

Wright was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

No other details were available on Thursday as ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate.
