
Car on Fire Drives Off Bridge into River in Sumter County, Tuscaloosa Dive Team Responds
The dive team of the Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue Service is en route to Sumter County, where a car on fire has reportedly gone over a bridge into the Sucarnoochee River below.
Holly Whigham, a spokeswoman for TFR, told the Thread they are sending mutual aid to assist Livingston Fire and the Sumter County Emergency Management Agency.

Whigham said a vehicle on fire drove off the Highway 11 bridge into the river below.
She said TFR is sending its dive team, Battalion 2 and a rescue truck to the scene to aid first responders. Livingston is about 60 miles southwest of Tuscaloosa, in Sumter County, near the Mississippi state line.
