Bryant-Denny Skyboxes Limited to Half-Capacity for 2020
Skyboxes at the University of Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium will be limited to half capacity for home games during the 2020 season, according to an email sent earlier this week by the TIDE PRIDE ticket office.
Skybox holders received messages that they would be eligible to retain 50 percent of the tickets in their skyboxes and would forfeit seats they hold in any of the stadium's other exclusive clubs.
"As a skybox holder, you are eligible for 50% of the tickets in your skybox," the message read. "If you have seats in other clubs, you will be limited to your skybox tickets only as we try to accommodate as many TIDE PRIDE members as possible with a greatly reduced stadium capacity."
As with season ticket holders, skybox holders are being offered the opportunity to opt-out of the program for the 2020 season with no impact on their TIDE PRIDE membership in 2021.
Ticket holders also have the option to request a full or partial refund of any remaining credit for TIDE PRIDE contributions and ticket purchases or can choose to donate all or part of that credit to the Crimson Core Fund to support the mission of Alabama Athletics during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The deadline for requesting available tickets is Friday, August 28th.
"We are committed to providing the safest game day experience possible for our student-athletes, staff and fans," the email to skybox holders read. "Adherence to public health guidance and implementation of best practices necessitates several changes to the game day experience this season."
