Bryant Bank Announces New Executive Vice President
Bryant Bank announced the hiring of its new Executive Vice President, Tuscaloosa resident Mark Sullivan, earlier this week.
In a Monday press release, a bank spokesperson said Sullivan joins the Bryant Bank team after a 29-year tenure with Synovous Bank, formally known as The Bank of Tuscaloosa. Sullivan is an alumnus of the University of Alabama, where he received his bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and earned an executive MBA.
"We are very fortunate to have Mark join our team and are very excited for the contribution he will make to the continued success of Bryant Bank," said Claude Edwards, Bryant Bank's President.
During his tenure with The Bank of Tuscaloosa, Sullivan was named the CEO after his predecessor in that role retired in 2010. Sullivan has served on many board of directors leadership roles, including at DCH Regional Medical Center, The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama and the United Way of West Alabama.
“I am beyond excited to join the Bryant Bank family and look forward to working alongside the team across the state of Alabama to continue our remarkable record of growth and success,” Sullivan said.
