Betty Fields McMillian (June 6th, 1932 – June 23rd, 2026)

Betty Fields McMillian left us this day, Saturday, May 23, 2026, to join her husband, Ruben D. McMillian, who preceded her in death. Her parents were Pearl Dockery Fields and Manly Fields.

Her surviving sister is Billie Joe Fields McCray of Huntsville. She leaves behind her children: Cynthia McMillian (husband, George Adair), Kathy McMillian Jones (husband, Mike Jones), and Randy McMillian (wife, Denise Barringer McMillian). Her grandchildren are Joshua Alexander Jones, Dr. Sarah Adair Fulghum, Hailey McMillian Livingston, and Hannah McMillian Lanier. Great-grandchildren are Robert Fulghum, Emaley John Livingston, Aley Mac Livingston, Annie Michael Livingston, Mary Hayden Livingston, Millianna Pearl Lanier and Beau Howard Lanier.

Pallbearers are Mike McMillian, Allen Gant, Wiley Mac Hutto, Joshua Jones, Sarah Fulghum, and Robert Fulghum.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Pineywoods Cemetery at 1:00 pm with Magnolia Chapel North directing. After the service, family and friends who wish to join in remembrance of Betty's life will gather at the home of her daughter, Cynthia McMillian.
