Balloon Release Planned In Memory Of Hillcrest High School Student in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Earlier this year Hillcrest High School student and sports super fan Cameron Prince passed away. His family now has an event planned in his honor at Hillcrest.

Cameron Tyler Prince’s birthday is coming up and his family has a special event planned on that day to honor his life. January 3rd, 2022 there will be a Birthday Balloon Release at Hillcrest High School at Cameron’s parking space beginning at 4p.
The mother of Cameron, Tammy Hopson-Prince spoke about the upcoming event.
“Cameron always liked to celebrate big for his birthday,” Tammy said.
“We want to keep honoring him and keep his memory alive by celebrating his birthday.”
Cameron has a designated parking space at Hillcrest high school. Those who choose to attend this public event are asked to meet at the parking space at 4:00p on January 3rd to celebrate Cameron and release balloons in his honor.
You can bring red, white, blue, or Alabama-colored balloons to the event. There will be a limited amount of balloons on site for those who choose to attend the event.
This event is open to the public as anyone who wants to come out and celebrate the life and birthday of Cameron Prince is welcome to attend.
“Cameron always had a smile and always was a happy person. We want to celebrate and let this be full of joy. “
When speaking on the emotional climate expected at the balloon release, Tammy Hopson-Prince said,
“If there are tears, which I know there will be, we want them to be tears of joy.“
