EXCLUSIVE: The Avett Brothers to Play Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in April

The Avett Brothers, one of the best-known folk rock bands in the country, will play a concert at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater this April, promoters announced Tuesday morning.

Red Mountain Entertainment, who books all concerts at the Amp, confirmed to the Tuscaloosa Thread and Alt 101.7 that the y'all-ternative band from North Carolina will bring their tour to the Druid City on April 30th.

The show is set to kick off at 8 p.m. on April 30th, which is a Saturday.

The three-time GRAMMY Award nominees will also be joined by an as-yet-unannounced special guest for their show in Tuscaloosa.

Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday, January 21st, on Ticketmaster and at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater Box Office.
