A man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder for his alleged role in a shooting at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex last week.
Jack Kennedy, the commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said the shooting took place on January 4th, last Thursday, at Creekwood Village apartments on 40th Avenue.
A man there was shot and hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, though Kennedy said the victim has since stabilized.
The day after the shooting, police identified 28-year-old Kevin Driver as a participant in the shooting, and he was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Kennedy said the investigation is still ongoing and other arrests are possible.
"Anyone who witnessed this incident, or has any information to share, is asked to contact the Violent Crimes Unit at 205-464-8690," Kennedy said.
