John McWilliams, a spokesperson for ALDOT in West Alabama, said the NWS has issued a winter storm warning for Colbert, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion and Winston counties and a winter weather advisory has been issued for Blount, Cherokee, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Fayette, Lamar, Marshall and Morgan counties.

Roads may be impacted Sunday night through Tuesday, and McWilliams said crews will be on standby following the pretreatment to address any roadway needs that might
arise during the event.
