Alabama Surplus Sale Begins Online This Week
Montgomery, AL - Thousands of items will go on sale this weekend as the state surplus property auction is set to begin this week, according to a release by the state of Alabama.

The auction, held by the Surplus Property Division of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, will last eight days, starting this Saturday, July 12, at 7:30 a.m. The sale will run until Sunday, July 20, at 6:00 p.m. Auctioneers interested in items will need to register with the ADECA before bidding on items.
Items for sale can vary, including automobiles, boats, tools, trailers, computers, office equipment, furniture, and more. Once bidding opens on Saturday morning, items can be viewed on the ADECA website. Some of the items can be viewed here.
Public viewing and inspection of the items for auction will be available at the Surplus Division's Montgomery Distribution Center, located at 4590 Mobile Highway, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from Wednesday, July 16, to Friday, July 18.
Auctions are held periodically each year, with surplus items available to municipal and county governments, state agencies, and qualified nonprofit organizations. Items sold are non-guaranteed, and all sales are final once the item is picked up and removed from the property.
