A man was injured after a gun misfired in a Tuscaloosa gun shop Monday afternoon.

According to Tuscaloosa Police Department spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor, the incident happened just after 1:30 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Gunsmith on 23rd Avenue. The man was struck by a ricocheted bullet that was misfired from a gun inside the shop.

The man was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
