An October concert at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater has been cancelled.

The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater announced the cancellation of the 70's Soul Jam, scheduled for October 1, this (Tuesday) morning.

The show included The Stylistics, The Delfonics featuring William Hart, Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, Enchantment, and Blue Magic with host Jimmie "JJ" Walker.

Red Mountain Entertainment provided the following statement:

The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater announced that the “70s Soul Jam concert at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater scheduled for October 1st has been canceled. Tickets purchased online & by phone will be refunded automatically. Tickets purchased at the box office should return to the point of purchase to obtain a refund.”

The cancellation comes one week after the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater announced plans to reschedule the much-anticipated Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers show.
