2 Teens Killed in Predawn Wreck in Tuscaloosa Saturday Morning
Two teenagers were killed early Saturday morning in a predawn crash off Interstate 20/59 in Tuscaloosa, police have confirmed.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said officers were called to the intersection of the interstate with Skyland Boulevard just before 2 a.m. Saturday.

A 2022 Tesla was pinned underneath a semi-truck trailer, and four occupants inside were trapped.
Taylor said the driver and front-seat passenger, a 17-year-old Tuscaloosa girl and an 18-year-old Uniontown boy, were killed in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene.
An 18-year-old Montgomery girl was taken to UAB Hospital with serious injuries, and a 17-year-old girl from Marion was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center with minor injuries where she is reportedly in good condition.
Substantiated reports on social media indicate the teenagers in the Tesla had attended prom at a local high school Friday night.
Taylor said TPD's traffic homicide unit is investigating the crash, and the identities of the victims were not publicly released Saturday morning.
